Top Priorities if Elected |
- Reduce unneccessary and frivolous expenditures and accelerate debt reduction
- Lower water rates
- Restore credibility and responsiveness to public
|
|
- Looping Project
-
The looping project is important, and should be done. But it can wait until we see what happens with the Keene project.
- Water Quality, Growth, and Capacity
-
Our current capacity is adequate for the foreseeable future. We need to be vigilant about monitoring quality, but there is no need for panic.
- Water Treatment Plant
-
The cost of an unusable water treatment plant is a burden on the ratepayers. We need to work with the state to remove this debt, or obtain funds to upgrade the plant to meet standards.
