Bill Carle is a Partner in the business law firm he co-founded, Carle, Mackie Power & Ross, with offices in downtown Santa Rosa. Bill is an active one third owner of McNab Ridge Winery in Mendocino County and he and his family have been in the Sonoma County grape growing business for over 25 years. As a lawyer, he has had extensive experience in commercial and civil litigation in federal and state courts representing clients in real estate and environmental law, contracts, partnership dissolution, unfair competition and other business torts, condemnation and construction defects, and employment law. He has substantial real estate transactional experience in land use, leasing, development, purchase and sales documentation. He has represented wineries and other business clients before public agencies on land use and other regulatory matters. He has represented a number of businesses as their General Corporate Counsel, providing a wide range of legal services as well as advice on operational and general business matters. Mr. Carle has been a peer reviewed AV Rated lawyer for about 28 years. In addition to serving as Judge pro tem for Sonoma County Superior Court, Mr. Carle serves as a private arbitrator and mediator. Mr. Carle was a partner in Anderson, Zeigler, Disharoon, Gallagher & Gray, and partner at Marron, Reid & Sheehy prior to founding Carle, Mackie, Power & Ross LLP as partner in 1998.
