With the creation of our OPPORTUNITY 21 Strategic Plan, we will prepare all students with 21st century skills preparing them to enroll in college or enter into the job market and to ensure success in a global economy. As your Board Trustee, :I believe that our children's eduction is the foundation of their future and what they learn today will enable them to pursue a productive life and they deserve a quality education in a safe learning environment". "I pledge to continue to strive and support the efforts to provide a quality educational experience and I am dedicated to providing equal opportunity for all students and support attracting and retaining high quality teachers, administrators and staff, while being fiscally responsible".

As your Trustee I will continue to work towards continuous quality improvement ,professional development of our employees,encouraging community involvement, business and city support, so we can continue to ensure our students have the excellent eduction they need and deserve. I am committed to being fiscally responsible and requiring a balanced budget that is focused on providing the needed education of our students. I am proud of the collaborative efforts we have made with our bargaining units that has brought equity a good relationships working together for the benefits of our students.

I am dedicated to keeping children and community a priority, I will strive to increased community involvement, effective fiscal management, promote a strong SJUSD identity that will ensure support for continuous student achievement, safe schools and preparing our students for a successful future.
