Reverse Privatizing Trend of the HospitalBy Evelyn M. FosterCandidate for Board Member; Marin Healthcare District | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Another 30-year lease will ensure all business is done behind closed doors.Marin General Hospital needs to stay in touch with the community to remain viable and successful If Measure R fails, that would provide the opportunity to undo the MGH Corporation and Private Board who make all decisions behind closed doors. If Measure R passes, then it will take small incremental steps to demonstrate to management the positive outcomes related to changing how the hospital currently functions. For example, listening to nurses, communicating real information to the community, bringing in high quality doctors/specialists and other staff to change how the hospital functions and is perceived. I will look for every opportunity to bring about these changes. |
