The millions of dollars that pass through Marin General Hospital and the $670M bond money must be handled transparently.There must be oversight on how these millions of dollars are spent. The new lease is almost exactly the same as the old lease Many questionable provisions in the lease have not been amended. It suggests the private board could re-let the hospital to a third party. Language suggests all profits are owned by the leasee and not the public who owns the hospital. There must be a strong elected District Board to ensure the community that the money is properly managed and spent. I will provide that oversight leadership to the hospital. |
