As a candidate for the Los Alamitos City Council,my vision is:To see progress and new developments,To invite and open our City to new entrepreneurs, which goes hand and hand in creating new jobs. To attend and focus to the needs of the people. To understand the community, be attuned to the needs and deliver excellent service for the safety and well-being of our constituents. The concept of excellent service must be a key part of the very structure and operation of the City that builds confidence, trust, and respect. The capabilities and strengths of a leader have a direct effect on an organization's success. Our leaders are accountable for their effectiveness. They must inspire, motivate, and work together to create a better future for our City.Services that are available for the good of the City should be a key factor in finding ways to boost our economy. We should develop new ways of doing business with trust, a purpose and with a sense of direction. Why run to be a politician if your goal is corruption and your integrity is at stake? Actions speak louder than words. "An old saying, "promises, promises and promises but nothing is being done! I will reduce communications gaps that limit our City's success. Balance planning & budget systems as these affect the strategic directions of the city. In order to achieve our goals, we need to work together as a team, respect others' opinions and be reliable & accountable for our own actions, keeping the communication lines open. Our City can attain success as a team if we create a plan of action utilizing everyone's knowledge, soliciting input from all sources, being responsible and acknowledging each person's thought and efforts.I will be involved in proper planning and in implementing change & personally deal with issues that affect our lives and others. Execute plans that will determine the success & development of our City and lead us in the right direction, hoping for a successful and sustainable transformation. I look forward to the health and well-being of our City. I envision a city of wisdom and prosperity, courage and truth, and changes for a brighter future. I can make a difference as long as we can work together and to change the way leadership is set.I look forward to being your next City Council Member! |
