Our city has been, and continues to be, mismanaged by an incompetent administration abetted by a faltering Common CouncilThey have not been up front with average citizens, creating a palpable malaise regarding their expectations regarding quality of life issues An effective democracy is reliant on timely and accurate exchange of information. Sunshine is the best disinfectant: Provide for: Frequent, regular, and pre-announced Council meetings. All on T.V. A City Hall locus for Common Council Offices, conference, communication amenities Commissioners, departments, prepare and should furnish regular reports in easily understood format. Citizens should have direct access to Departments w/o going through the Mayor's Office filter. |
