The Libertarian Party is the Party of Principle, a vital element of integrity sorely missing from politics today. We believe that individuals have the right to exercise sole dominion over their own loves, and have the right to live in whatever manner they choose, so long as they do not forcibly interfere with the equal right of others to live in whatever manner they choose. Learn more about the Libertarian Party at: http://www.lp.org I can represent and apply those principles, and if elected I will do so. Quit throwing away your vote on traditional candidates who sell out your personal and financial freedoms. Discover that Libertarians embody those elements that are best from the Republicans and Democrats, without compromising your liberty or presuming to know what is best for you better than you do yourself. KEY ISSUES Today's congressional decisions have long-term consequences for our children and future generations: Education: We must provide a quality education by promoting school choice. The private sector will respond with cost-effective quality education, and provide an alternative to government-run schools, which indoctrinate our children with the idea that big government can solve every perceived problem. Drugs: We must protect our children from violent drug criminals and needless incarceration by ending the senseless and hopeless war on drugs, and implementing rational regulation. Defense: We must protect our children from war by bolstering our deteriorating national defense, ending our role as world police force, and ending draft registration. Prosperity: We must stop jeopardizing our children's financial future by reducing irresponsible government spending and oppressive taxation. |
