Revive the Tenth Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. Return to the States power which belongs solely to them.
The U.S. Constitution, in the Tenth Amendment, provides
The Tenth Amendment to the U.S. Constitution provides that
that all power not granted to the federal government by the sovereign States resides with the States. This wise provision is based on the correct concept that different localities with different needs can best judge what is best for them. This is particularly true of education. We do not need a federal Department of Education. It should be abolished. Local school boards and parents, not Washington, should decide what is best for our children. Over the years we have witnessed an increasing, steady but
nefarious encroachment of federal power. This includes all three branches of government. The Internal Revenue system has oppressed our hard working people, and it is time for the elimination of waste of our hard earned money by
excessive taxation. The blood of our young service people is being wasted on foreign entanglements against which George Washington warned. We need a strong military to defend the United States, but we should not use our military power to attempt to solve all the world's problems. Such a policy is not isolationism but self-preservation, which is the first law of nature.
