ONE LAST THOUGHT......

Something to consider when casting your vote:

What Mayoral canidate has no political affiliation with a particular area or business that directly contradicts with the position of our city? I come to you with no baggage. I don't owe anyone any favors. I have no ties with companies that will prosper with this election. I bring a clean slate to this position. In short, I have no special interests. All I waat to do is take the postition and continue the excellence that Bob Price has shown in the past seven years. To absorb as much knowlege about Bakersfield without suffering the same political pressures that are placed upon the members of the City Council.
Finally, more food for thought: out of all the candidates. I have a career that best allows me to attend every board meeting and every city functions, provide support, and be involved in city business. After carefully considering what the job of Mayor would entail and discussing it with my employer. They have no problem with me taking care of the affairs of our city first. The management and staff is behind me 100% because they too are citizens of Bakersfield.I'm willing to devote as much time as needed to the position of Mayor. How many of the other candidates are willing to put everything on the backburning and make Bakersfield their #1 priority.
