Our day to day system for operations and process is broken.
Anytime you have board members sitting on interview panels to hire part time employees, there's a problem. Anytime your board of education is routinely voting against the recommendations of their superintendent and/or their administrative team. there's a problem. The responsibilities of the board of education are to set policy, manage the business, hire great leaders and support those leaders. They should must give their leaders the tools necessary to be successful.
