Candidate for Council Member; City of Rancho Palos Verdes

City Council member since 2011, Mayor 2015
It is with great honor serving the past 3 1/2 years as your Rancho Palos Verdes Council member.

While on Council I have been able to implement what I call collaborative governance wherein I find common ground with my fellow Council members as well as coordinate with other agencies, businesses and non-profits to provide a full spectrum of services to our residents.

In implementing my duties as a Council member I:

-Make sure I have a full and accurate understanding of the issue at hand

-Listen carefully to public comments and find an understanding of the public's interpretation of the issue

-Be aware of the parameters of RPV regulations and applicable State and Federal laws

-Reach a fair resolution and let the public know the reasons for my decision

If look at my biography you will see that I am serving on numerous Boards and Agencies while on Council. I have developed a strong relationship with those Boards and Board Members and, if re-elected, can carry forth that networking to the benefit of our city.
