Political Philosophy for Harvey Rarback
Candidate for |
Why I am withdrawing and whom to vote for now I decided to run for City Council because I was convinced we needed better leadership for our city. Having participated in three public forums that included the two incumbents, I am more convinced than ever that this is a critical time to implement change. There are three open seats and up to now there have been four candidates who are pledged to reform the Council. I believe it is important not to dilute our efforts. We need to get three good people elected. Consequently, I am requesting that my supporters vote instead for the three reform candidates who are pledged to honesty, transparency and fiscal prudence
I am extremely gratefully for all the support I have received from the community and I hope that you will respect my decision and the reasons for it. We deserve better government in Half Moon Bay. I believe that my withdrawal from this race makes that eventuality more likely. --Harvey Rarback |
