Candidate for
Council Members to Replace Victoria Baca if Recalled; City of Moreno Valley; Council District 5

I have been a resident of Moreno Valley for 29 years, all of which were in District 5. I understand the concerns of this part of Moreno Valley. I have been married to Jackie Jempson for 29 years and together we have 3 boys and 1 girl, two of which attended school within the Moreno Valley Unified School District all 12 years. Both my husband and son served in the United States Army.

My bilingual skills in Spanish and English helps facilitate the proper representation needed in a community of over 66% Hispanic.

I have been an active community member by volunteering through 17 different organizations which serve a variety of needs in our City. They range from child advocacy, to the business community, military and the less fortunate.

Professionally, I have been in Human Resources for over 22 years which provides me with the Business background I feel is needed for this position. My expertise includes: Hiring/Firing, Payroll Processing, Benefit Administration, Budgeting, Labor and Safety Compliance and Environmental Practices.

I have a vested interest in the City of Moreno Valley. I love this City and want it to return back to a community that people were proud of.
