Bio.. Emmanuel Ogunleye Candidate For Pittsburg City Council, 2014

Director Emmanuel Ogunleye, a resident of Pittsburg since1992 is currently the Vice President of Los Medanos Community Healthcare District (LMCHD) Board with boundaries that covers Pittsburg/Bay point/portion of Clyde/all unincorporated March Creek. He also serves as Chair of the RealEstate/Administration/& Legal Committee (REAL) and Co-Chair of Finance Committee, Grant Committee, and the District Programs and Activities Committee.

Added to mastery of Law, Political Science, International Relations, and Public Administration, Emmanuel has been awarded a Graduate Certificate in Special District Governance (2013), and Master's Certificate in Leadership (2013).

Prior to his appointment to elected office on the Board of LMCHD, Emmanuel served his community in the following positions as :

. Appointed by Pittsburg City Council as Community Advisory Commissioner (2009 to 2013).

. Served on Community Development Block Grant Committee (2009 to 2013).

. Served on Measure P Oversight Committee (2013).

. Assembly District 11 Delegate to California Democratic Party.

Emmanuel has built a career of service to the people in the last 24 years as:

. President, Disability Evaluation Services: A Social Security Disability Law Representative (2006 - Present).

. Social Security Disability Regional (CA, NV, AZ, HW) Quality Examiner Administrator(2003 - 2006).

. Governmental Program Analyst/Contract Manager for California State Department of Health Services (2000 - 2003).

. Disability Evaluation Analyst for the State of California (1991- 2000).

Emmanuel is devoted a devoted family man with three children raised in Pittsburg CA, his community, and his country. Emmanuel believes that leadership must be transparent, inclusive, and celebrate our strength in diversity to achieve the best value in service to the community. His joy is in service that positively change lives.

Emmanuel is a man of faith, trustworthy, caring, dedicated, astute in his service, moral conviction, and a goal getter who believes in strong family values and has been working hard for the City of Pittsburg and his community at large.
