Candidate for
Council Member; City of Pleasanton

A respected business leader, George has been Chief Marketing Officer for a national insurance company, principal of one of the largest California-domiciled insurance brokerages, and more recently a consultant to insurance corporation senior management.

With a strong background in management and business finance, George has started successful businesses and was directly involved in the successful sale of a major business.

George and his wife, Jane, are 29-year residents of Pleasanton and live in the Parkside neighborhood. They raised their three children in Pleasanton. He holds a Bachelors of Science Degree in Liberal Studies and holds the professional designations of Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter, (CPCU) and Accredited Advisor in Insurance, (AAI).

An accomplished musician, George performs in a Bay Area band as well as locally in his church band. George is an avid surfer and long-distance swimmer, and together with Jane enjoys bird watching, scuba diving and being with his grandchildren.
