San Diego County, CA | June 3, 2014 Election |
Investing In Our NeighborhoodsBy Sarah BootCandidate for Council Member; City of San Diego; District 2 | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
Shifting the focus from downtown special interestsI know that the strength of our great city is only as strong as our local neighborhoods. We need to shift the focus of city hall back to our neighborhoods instead of always doing what the downtown special interests want. This requires more attention to our communities infrastructure, rebuilding our streets and repairing our storm run-off and drainage systems. To preserve San Diego's reputation as a premiere tourism destination, we need to ensure that tourists have the ability to move around San Diego in a safe and efficient manner. |
