1. As the demographics change in your township, how do you plan to provide for basic services?
The first step is to examine very carefully the changes in demographics in Elk Twp and to understand exactly what is changing here and where the change is leading. As a member of the Elk Twp Planning Commission, I have seen a slowdown in development in Elk Twp, and a slowdown in changing demographics. Also, there is an Oxford Region Multimunicipal Comprehensive Plan that includes Elk Twp, and this plan calls for a regional approach to planning how to provide basic services for changing demographics in the Oxford region.
