As the demographics change in your township, how do you plan to provide for basic services? Answer from Thomas H. Shar: The first step is to examine very carefully the changes in demographics in Elk Twp and to understand exactly what is changing here and where the change is leading. As a member of the Elk Twp Planning Commission, I have seen a slowdown in development in Elk Twp, and a slowdown in changing demographics. Also, there is an Oxford Region Multimunicipal Comprehensive Plan that includes Elk Twp, and this plan calls for a regional approach to planning how to provide basic services for changing demographics in the Oxford region.
