School Director; West Chester School District; Republican, Democratic Party

I have lived in the West Chester Area School District since 1997. My husband, Sean McKernan and I, have two boys, one attending Fugett Middle School, and one attending East Goshen Elementary. I attended the Central Bucks School District and graduated from Central Bucks East High School. I graduated from East Stroudsburg University, summa cum laude, with a Bachelor's Degree in Nursing, and from Villanova Law School with my Law Degree.

I worked professionally as a registered nurse and then as an attorney in Media, Pa. In 2001, I decided to end my full time employment and stay home to raise my children.

I am thoroughly invested in my boys' education and enjoy volunteering at their schools. My sons' play Little League Baseball, study Tae Kwon Do, and are on a summer swim team. My husband and I are parent volunteers for all of their activities.
