I am a strong supporter of public schools because I attended an excellent public school district when I was growing up and that, along with invaluable guidance from my parents, provided me with the tools and opportunities to reach my full academic potential. My public school education enabled me to work hard and succeed in higher education and my careers. I want the same for my children and all the children of our wonderful community.

I believe our School District achieves excellence when students, parents, teachers, and community members are valued and empowered to work as partners in the education of our children. Continued excellence of our West Chester Area School District is an invaluable asset to parents as we ensure a high quality education for our children.

A fiscally responsible School Board is essential to our ability as a community to sustain a superior school district. A strong and high achieving school district must have its focus on student achievement and efficient use of district resources.
