Top Priorities if Elected
  • Keep local education funding local, stop sending our education dollars to be wasted by Sacramento politicians
  • Partner with business to create course curriculum that is focused on the jobs that our local economy needs to fill.
  • Every student should have a goal that they reach and a timeline to reach it. Lifetime or longtime students does nothing but take up a spot.

Position Papers
Business/career focused curriculum
How do we partner with business to be able to promote the college to have classes focused on the jobs they cant fill.
Unfair College Funding
The San Diego Community College District only gets 2% of any tuition it collects. 98% goes to Sacramento to be given back to the schools as they see fit. This is a broken system.
FISCAL REFORM FOR OUR COMMUNITY COLLEGES
We must defend our students against Project Labor Agreements made for the unions and not for the free and open competitive bidding on contracts
