Looking for the best for the kids.
As a school board member, the most important asset is our children. It is my priority when I make any decision as to funding, new funding or cutting programs is to look as to how will it effect the kids. Without the kids, we have no future and no school district would not exist. I would expect nothing less from my decisions than those of the prior school board members who had to make those same tough decisions when our daughters were in attendance in the schools. They were able to thrive with the opportunities afforded them and I want the same for the children now. There is nothing that should be passed by without consideration, if we can afford it, if it will be a benefit to our children's education.
