When it comes to Water District Management I've found that leaving politics out of it is often preferred if you want to get something accomplished. My philosophy is less political than it is personal. Whether it is helping guide your water district or raising my children and grand-children,I try be a good listener, to make sure I hear other people's point of view, and to make decisions that move us forward. Competition can be a healthy thing but in the real world where most of us live, repecting others and compromising is what moves us forward. Running for office should be about ideas that truly consider the needs of all residents. I have a solid track record of results in both my personal and professional life, grounded in common sense, faith and servant leadership to others. Philosophy without action and leadership is ineffective governance and that's why I am running for office.
One last thought on philosophy though. I also believe that if you have to outspend others to get your ideas across then maybe those ideas can't stand on their own.
