During my tenure on the Board, we have worked to acquire and protect open space in the Martis Valley and the Tahoe Basin. We have completed a comprehensive engineering analysis of our pavement resulting in a professionally-developed plan to maintain the quality of this asset. We continue to investigate options to reduce aircraft annoyance to residents and to support community non-profit organizations. With my U.C. Berkeley Civil Engineering Master's Degree and 31 years of experience in public works and private development projects, I understand the various aspects of infrastructure. With my family, I'm active in schools, sports, music, and was a Board Member for the Sierra Nevada Children's Museum (pre-KidZone) and AYSO. I ask for your vote because I want to represent you in the upcoming Master Plan. This is your chance to tell us what you think the airport should be ... and what you do not want it to become. I will continue to look for opportunities where the District can serve both the aviation and non-aviation community, while providing fiscal oversight.
