Fiscal ResponsibilityBy Brad James McGirrCandidate for Council Member; City of Rancho Santa Margarita; 2 Year Short Term | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
I will ensure that RSM achieves a balanced budget every year with sufficient capital reservesDuring my tenure on the RSM Planning Commission and RSM Economic Development Committee, Rancho Santa Margarita has once again achieved a balanced budget with $19 million in reserves! With sound, conservative fiscal management, there is no reason to believe that our city cannot balance its budget each and every year. I serve on the Board of Directors for my law firm, and am responsible for our annual budget, accounts payable, accounts receivable, economic projections, etc. It is through this prism that I will address RSM's economic issues, and I will work with my fellow council members to balance the budget and to apply tax payer funds in an appropriate manner. |
