Promote Businesses Currently Operating in Soledad

My plan to give more exposure to the businesses in Soledad.
I have a blog page on my website at <http://www.vote4charlesgibbs.com> in which I ask the citizens of Soledad what I can or the City of Soledad can do for them. I plan to use this information to see what the people really want.

One thing I feel that needs to be addressed, is more visibility of the businesses currently here in Soledad. I feel the local businesses are not getting the exposure they deserve. I plan to work with the Soledad-Mission Chamber to find ways of promoting the businesses here. I would like to propose a "Business(es) of the Week or Month" flyer or notification to the public. This promotion could be done with emails, signs, in the chamber window, etc.

The businesses can hold business mixers to promote their business and also help cross promote other businesses in the community.
