Preserving, Protecting, and Defending Proposition 13

Proposition 13 provides the foundation for Californians to enjoy the benefits of owning private property.
When Proposition 13 was passed in California, homeowners, and prospective homeowners, gained the benefit and freedom that stable and predictable taxation provides. In the interim years, those that would raise property taxes have failed to penetrate the wall of protection that Prop 13 has so effectively provided. Not that they haven't tried. In every legislative session, liberal Democrats have attempted to incrementally weaken Prop 13 and have to date... failed. It is the constant duty of conservatives, and their responsibility to the taxpayers, to be vigilant and determined in their defense of Prop 13.
