Health Care for all Pennsylvanians

By Mark Purcell

Candidate for State Representative; Pennsylvania State House of Representatives; District 20; Democratic Party

This information is provided by the candidate
I will sign on to and support HB-1660
This Bill will save business and government billions of dollars on healthcare costs. Freeing up money for all State, County, and Local Governments, including School Districts to use this money for much needed infrastructure and overhead costs now unaffordable in this economic down turn. Under this bill you keep your same doctor, hospital, or any other medical professional you now utilize. There is no long waiting periods for operations. You are covered for eye care, dental procedures, and you pay nothing for prescriptions. All of this is paid by you at 3% of your income, and your employer at 10% of your wage. EVERYONE is covered, no exceptions.

This is run and administered by a commission, not the government.

Other states such as Hawaii are in the process of implementing similar healthcare coverage.
