I should be elected because I represent the current parent of Charter Oak, as I have young children being educated in our fine schools right now. I bring fresh ideas to the table and I am not afraid to question the status quo, and engage in healthy dissent if necessary. I would also like to bring more parents into the loop regarding decisions such as how our monies are spent,and where they feel it should be directed. I am a big supporter of investing in technology and new ideas to get children motivated to learn. I am also generally against taxpayers and homeowners being burdening with bonds and parcel taxes when they are not needed. |
