I am running for this office . . . to bring Competence, Courage and Character to the conduct of business in the City of Riverbank.

My most important priority is . . . to eliminate the contention, bitterness and chaos that has become the norm in the present day conduct of the city's business.

This animosity leads to bad decisions (or no decisions) that can create problems that will take years to solve.

I am the only candidate . . . with previous experience on the council and experience working with the businesses of Riverbank and other state and local entities. I have the Competence that comes from years of service, the Courage to answer the hard questions and solve the city's problems and the Character that is required to make prudent decisions.

I have served previously:

Appointed to fill a seat on the Riverbank City Council, 2001, following the election of Bill O'brien as Mayor, which was followed by the death of the original appointee, Council member; Elected to full term on the Riverbank City Council, 2002-2006. Council member . Member, Friends of Jacob Myers Park; Riverbank Chamber of Commerce; Historical Society; Managing Director, Rio Arts -Performing & Visual Arts; Downtown Revitalization Committee.

Served in U.S. Navy, Navy Reserve. Eagle Scout, BSA
