I support Prop. P. because it is the right thing to do for the children of our district.I support Proposition P because it is the right thing to do for children. It will enable us to ensure that our students have 21st century learning skills, as a major part of the bond extension is to provide technology for our students and teachers. It will make sure that all of our schools are safe and up-to-date. It also enables the district to construct a Technology Exploration Center (something which could not be replicated at all nine school sites) on the property it owns on Quail Gardens Drive. Another major part of the bond program implements the work of our district Green Team, with installation of solar energy sites at seven of our schools, and other energy and water conservation measures. It is important to note that this is a bond extension, and does not increase the current tax rate. Vote YES on Proposition P on November 2nd! |
