My wife, Missy, our four children, and I have lived in Encinitas for 26 years, and my law practice is also located in Encinitas.

I coached competitive soccer teams in Encinitas and Carlsbad for 8 years, and I have served on the Olivenhain Community Advisory Board, and the school site councils for my children's elementary schools.

I have also been an active member of the MiraCosta Community College Foundation for 12 years. In fact, I served on the Foundation Board raising funds for the College for 2 years before being becoming a College Trustee ten years ago.
