Candidate for
Council Member; City of Garden Grove

I come from a strong military family. Our family has proudly served over 200 years of active duty time! We represent every United States Armed Forces military branch: Army Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard, and Merchant Marines. We have held ranks starting as Privates, to Sergeant, to Master Sergeant, to Chief Warrant Officer 4, to Lieutenant Commander in the Naval Nurse Corps. I retired after 20 years of service in the US Army, where I held positions as a Safety Officer, Pilot, Instructor Pilot, and Standardization Instructor Pilot. All very demanding positions. I have flown former Presidents, Vice Presidents, and US Ambassadors. I have flown in support of California's Counter Narcotics Programs, Disaster Relief Programs, Riots in support of Police Officers and Fire Fighters in Los Angeles County, and numerous other campaigns. After retiring from the military, I became a Teacher. This will be my 8th year and probably the most satisfying second career. I was nominated as `Teacher of the Year' in 2008. Managing a classroom and 150 students is not an easy chore for the faint of heart. Luckily, I love teaching! My wife and I have two wonderful daughters and one fantastic son.

I am a partner in BevExpert Distributing, based in Garden Grove. We distribute ALKA Power: Natural Ionic Alkaline Bottled Water. Its a healthy hydrating drink, that's why I decided to join my partner. We can all use healthy drinks.
