Welcome! Thank you for visiting my 2010 campaign for Garden Grove City Council web site! I honestly believe that the city council is the place to apply good old-fashioned family values, common sense, and business sense to our local government. I'm running for Garden Grove City Council so I can apply those values to--and refocus our attentions on--the core missions of our city government. These include police and fire protection, roads and traffic, fiscal management and dealing with our housing pressures through intelligent planning--but without forcing "high density" into our existing neighborhoods. As a business owner here in Garden Grove, I will streamline local government processes so that they don't stifle or burden healthy economic development in our area. I will work to establish the proper infrastructure so that private enterprise is allowed to prosper. I will work to keep our community `family-friendly' through a Beautification Program, and maintain affordable housing! My commitment to Garden Grove goes back many years. My wife, Donna and I grew up in Garden Grove and met at Bolsa Grande High School. While we enjoyed our stay in Southern California, my commitment to joining the military was strong. So we temporarily moved out of state to fulfill the military's requirements. My experience as a military officer was invaluable. We however, were thrilled to return to Garden Grove and call this wonderful community-our home! I want Garden Grove to be known as,' A Wonderful City to Live and Raise a Family!'. I've served our community in a variety of ways, my favorites:
