Warren Kusumoto, Gerri Graham-Mejia, and I have formed a team based on Truth, Trust, and TransparencyThe only way to stop corruption in City Hall is to replace the current City Council Majority. If Warren Kusumoto, Gerri Graham-Mejia, and I are ALL elected to the City Council, we will stop the corruption, restore transparency in government, and fulfill these promises to the voters: 1. We will represent YOUR interests; not the special interests. 2. We will move to rescind the $6.5 Million overcharge in the new trash contract. 3. We will pass an ordinance prohibiting acceptance of contributions from those who contract with our city. 4. We will protect the provisions of our city code that currently prohibit the use of eminent domain for the acquisition of privately owned property. 5. We will find ways to reduce city taxes to increase the quality of life for our residents. 6. We will maintain the high quality of our police department by providing them with the tools necessary to protect the public. 7. We will pass an ordinance to guarantee future funding of the July 4th Fireworks display for the citizens of Los Alamitos. It is about Patriotism and the birth of our Country! |
