Cypress School District has long had a reputation for producing strong results. This has happened consistently despite the lack of proper funding from the State of California.As a member of the Cypress School Board, I will dedicate a portion of my time to finding enhanced ways to educate the children of our district. The recent introduction of Smart Boards is, in my opinion, a giant step in the right direction, but more needs to be done. Through the use of creative and collaborative problem solving measures, I will lead the way in finding enhancements to the current educational opportunities. I will use methods that are allowed by the California Education Code to provide children with the opportunity to learn internet technologies that will improve the educational experience they are currently experiencing. We cannot sit back and be comfortable with the opportunities we are currently providing to the students. By reviewing the opportunities currently available and searching for ways to improve or add to those opportunities, the students of the Cypress School District will find themselves in a strong learning environment that enables them to grow and increase the scope of their knowledge.
