Parents who are involved with the education of their children have a unique and often profound perspective on what should be done at the school level.As a member of the Cypress Board of Trustees, I will be the second member who has children currently attending Cypress schools. I will bring to the Board the viewpoint of a parent. While I understand that parents often think they know the answers to all that ails the schools, much of what we, as parents, believe should happen are prohibited by the Education Code. I will be in position to implement ideas that bring the parental view to the issues in a way that is allowed by the Education Code. I will be supportive of the teachers, students, parents and administrators as I make decisions that affect their lives. I will always look at things from all sides and make the best decision possible for everyone in the Cypress School District.
