TUSD continues to achieve excellence despite state budget incompetence by Sacramento.

As an experienced school board member, business owner and father of two children in TUSD schools, I'm committed to continuing our district's rise in performance, achievement and recognition.

I'm proud to have been a part of TUSD's recent accomplishments where in the last 6 years we achieved 20 California Distinguished School awards, won 4 National Blue Ribbon Awards and watched our API scores rise 82 points. I will continue ensuring our entire school district is achieving excellence. Excellent schools add to the community and increase property values.

I need your vote to continue keeping our schools among the best in Orange County, improve performance at all schools, prepare students for the rigors of high school and provide them the opportunity to enter life fully prepared. Historically, 99% of our students graduate, and over 90% of our graduates enroll in college, and the remainder learn a life trade. The newest state scores show 21 of our schools increased their API by 9 or more points. Our District average has jumped to 850. Our SAT scores continue well above the California and national averages.
