  • Tustin student Graduation rate of over 95%

Fiscal Responsibility

  • Education dollars spent on strong validated academic programs
  • Renovation and modernization of oldest Middle schools and High schools on time and under budget using local funding
  • Conservative budget management best in Orange county
  • Maintaining Budget solvency despite drastic state cuts to education funding
  • New K-8 school opening in Orchard Hills
  • Opened first two-story Elementary school building at Hick's Canyon
  • New Quad completed at Tustin High school

Vision for Tustin's Future

  • Reduce class sizes
  • First new school under construction on former Marine Base
  • Expansion of information technology classrooms throughout Tustin High School
  • Modernization of Model United Nations facility at Tustin High School
  • Returning Music Program to Elementary School sites
  • Increase in Gate, Honors and Advanced Placement programs across TUSD
