Job creation and getting people back to work is a must!Unemployment is a central challenge in our community. It is a priority. In partnership with the school district, we will return vocational programs vital for high school students and adults alike. Today's jobs require a high level of qualification and it is our responsibility to make this training accessible to all Richmond Residents. As a councilperson, I will be looking for othere job development opportunities such as training recruitment centers. Job development training centers such as Richmond Works should be expanded to meet the needs of the community. I will work to develop employment centers that provide training where potential employers can come and select qualified employees in their own community. |
