Communities planned to protect our quality of life and equal opportunity for all our citizens
I believe our community must be developed in ways that serve all our citizens not just those who already have all the social and economic advantages. Equally important is taking the long view and seeing the value of preserving our unique natural environment and our irreplacable historic architecture. One area where both these concerns are involved is in developing tracts of underdeveloped land. We must make sure that this is done in ways that do not harm the environment, that do not endanger historic or archaeological sites and which do not simply move jobs around endangering the survival of existing commercial and residential neighbohoods. On the Democratic Central Committee I work hard for candidates and causes that support these views.
