Quality education is the foundation for the future of our children.Governor Ed Rendell has done an exceptionally good job in providing more funds to our schools. When he took office the State was paying around 32% in subsidies to fund basic education. Six years later has raised this to about 38%. Governor Rendell has also been and advocate in the "Costing out Study" which proposes spending hundreds of millions of dollars in additional state funding for basic Education. This would level the playing field among the 501 school districts in Pennsylvania. |
