-Served in VietNam as a helicopter pilot.
-Flew with the California National Guard.
-As a helicopter pilot participated directly and indirectly in Arctic and Alaska wildlife studies (peregrine falcon studies, grizzley bear tagging, helping commercial salmon fisherman, etc.)
-Flight simulator instructor at Fort Ord, Ca.
-Retired as an airline pilot for Horizon Airlines.
