LET THE SUNSHINE ON TRI CITY: ACCOUNTABILITY - TRANSPARENCY - ETHICSBy RoseMarie V. RenoCandidate for Board Member; Tri-City Healthcare District | |
This information is provided by the candidate |
". . . we do encourage any and all candidates to include the Sunshine Pledge in their campaigns and to let Californians Aware to know if they have done so; We encourage voters to resolve any electoral indecision you may have in favor of candidates who make this commitment to transparency," Emily Francke, Executive Director, Californians AwareThe top issues affecting my role as a board member: we need to be held accountable to the public, and we must hold the CEO and his management team accountable and responsible, especially in these challenging times of change regarding the survival of Tri City Medical Center. We need fiscal responsibility by holding the CEO and his management team responsible for the market share of the patients, e.g., moving Sharp Mission Park to Scripps. We need assurance that the Administration will complete the paperwork for the extension of the deadline for the seismic renovation as required by law. By holding the CEO accountable, transparency will increase by keeping the whole board apprised about issues that affect the District in order that we will move forward in the future. I PLEDGE TO YOU -- VOTERS OF THE TRI CITY HEALTHCARE (HOSPITAL) DISTRICT -- SUNSHINE -- OPEN GOVERNMENT I promise voters that if elected, whatever else my priorities may be and whatever other challenges may arise, you can count on me for the following commitments to open government and freedom of expression.
I respect your need for both the facts and the chance to speak to them, and that respect will guide my every act in office. Respectfully, RoseMarie V. Reno Sunshine Pledge - Californians Aware http://www.calaware.org/home.php |
