"The people must take back control of the People's Hospital in preparation for the future. Everyone must be include in the decision making process -- It is the people of Tri City who are the rightful owners of our hospital's future with access, costs, health and medical care services or programs delivered -- Let's take back our hospital." 1. Low Morale among nurses, allied health personnel, and physicians;

2. Waiting time in Emergency Room - waiting for a bed in a unit.

3. Physicians moving practices to Scripps area.

4. Blaming the Board - or accusing the Board sometimes for failures;    
5. Board abrogating responsibilities to administration;

6. Some board members feel that Administrative decisions are okay, and place important items under the consent calendar for a rubber stamp;

7. Utilization of excess revenue from bonuses, and attorneys billable hours and consultants, to reconstruction and renovation of Tri City Medical Center.

8. Board majority by reelecting the minority voices, and welcome the nurses and healthcare workers, patients, and doctors who speak up on issues of bedside care.

As hospital community leaders, first we should demonstrate our sincerity to the public by our actions rather than be measured by words. Over the years, I've been dedicated to preserving Tri City as the People's Hospital -- All things are possible.
