Dr. Long offers a unique and needed perspective for the Grossmont District Healthcare District Board.1. Expertise and vast experience in Medical Staff Leadership 2. Knowledge of survey regulations and standards and experience as a hospital surveyor since 1990 3. Experience with and knowledge of the proceedings of the Grossmont Hospital Corporate Board of Directors 4. Understanding of the Grossmont Healthcare District responsibilities concerning landlord functions for Grossmont Hospital 5. Commitment to see that the District Board continues appropriate oversight of Prop G funds use for developing and maintaining state-of-the-art emergency and other services 6. Commitment to assuring that tax revenues are appropriately used to provide access to needed services to the families dwelling within the District 7. Pledge to do everything possible to improve and maintain high quality, compassionate care in an efficient manner in all facilities that the Grossmont Healthcare District oversees 8. Pledge to work to improve and maintain the excellent reputation of the District and of Grossmont Hospital 9. Commitment to make certain that communications between the District Board and the Grossmont Hospital Corporate Board by attending the Grossmont Hospital Corporate Board meetings. |
