Top Priorities if Elected |
- Considerable acrimony between the various groups at the SOCCCD has led to a threat of a loss of accreditation.
- Violation of 50% law requiring half of district expenditures be on faculty salaries led to rush hiring of 38 full timers to meet requirements.
- Unawareness of 50% law had led to the hiring of part timers who were cheaper even on a pro rata basis which often leads to lower quality teaching.
