ABOUT CINDY

My husband Ed and I moved to California in 1973. He began his work as a pediatrician at Kaiser Permanente in Hayward and I worked as a Cardiac and Intensive Care Nurse at the same facility. We found Pleasanton on a drive from the Lake Chabot campground where we were living while looking for a home. Being a farm girl, I thought this is it, open space, hills, farmland and a great little downtown.

It wasn't long before our two children Lauren and Eddie arrived and I set about finding quality supplemental educational opportunities for both of them. I found my true passion when I began volunteering at Kinderkirk Preschool. One year later I was President of Board. Today, I remain a strong advocate for children of all ages.

Ed and I have been married 39 years, 40 years on November 30th. Eddie and Lauren are grown and live nearby. Lauren lives in Dublin and works there as teacher. Eddie works in Walnut Creek and has returned his family, wife Andrea and two children back to Pleasanton. I am a grateful grandmother.

My commitment to Pleasanton, its children and you is real.
