I have been an activist for civil rights and women's rights for almost forty years.

I am the only woman candidate living in southwest Santa Rosa. I am also a homeowner with a well. Water is of major importance to me because of the continued draining of the aquifer. Most of the people in my neighborhood are dependent on their wells and, if the aquifer dries up because of development and the casino, they could lose their home.

I will fight for local issues such as water and growth and continue my support for a citizens' review board, in keeping with my commitment to civil rights.
